Educational Resources debuts LearnPad

Educational Resources® (“ER™”) is releasing the LearnPad™ tablet solution to the US market. The LearnPad™ is a customized school-based tablet solution that supports a wide range of curriculum resources, including tablet “apps”, websites and Flash-based learning content. It contains easy-to-use tools expressly designed to support effective teaching with out-of-the-box utility. “Contrast the LearnPad™ with various brands’ consumer tablets, and it is easy to see they are overtly lacking any embedded instructional utility. The LearnPad™ addresses rather than over-simplifies everyday school challenges.” says Kevin Shupenia, VP of Tablet Solutions for Educational Resources®.
The LearnPad™ features a very simple, easy-to-use operating system designed around both the teacher and student. “As implementations of one-to-one technology take shape across the country, ER™ believes effective teaching is best served by ensuring that display-centric devices (such as tablets) offer the built-in capacity to support practical, everyday instructional needs. This means supporting teachers’ ability to effortlessly move between whole class, directed and individualized instruction.” adds Chris Klein, ER™’s Tablet Solutions Product Manager. After just a few days in the market, the instructional utility of the LearnPad™ is proving an attraction to ER’s customers across the country. “In a short conversation with a long-time customer (he) was able to let me know that after a thorough evaluation of more than 5 other Android solutions, the out-of-the-box ready education focus of the LearnPad™ along with its incredible affordability makes this a smart decision for their district’s one-to-one pilot.” offers Dan Sladek, ER™ Tablet Solutions Advisor.
